The Columbia Institute for Water Policy strives to promote sustainable and equitable management of the transboundary fresh water resources of the Columbia River watershed, using interdisciplinary research, public outreach, and education focused on law and public policy.  Through these efforts, the Columbia Institute seeks to transform public discourse regarding the governance and use of rivers and aquifers to embrace environmental values and justice, and a sustainable future focus.
